Eduroam
In order to facilitate multi-university research activites, Mason provides access to campus WiFi networks for visiting faculty, staff, and students through EDUROAM. Mason faculty, staff, and students may also access the “eduroam” wireless service using their Mason credentials when visiting participating organizations. Computing Resources
Currently Mason does not support federated authentication on computing resources, however, such support is planned. If you have a need to provide access to ORC computing resources to researchers from other institutions, they must first be appointed as affiliate faculty. This request must be made by a local academic unit and approved by the Provost. The office staff in your local academic unit should be able to provide assitance with this procedure.
